I’ve had more fun this weekend – I’ve created one more Valentine project before the holiday. I wanted to make a Subway Art project and I thought that it might be fun to create a bookmark to give as a simple gift.
It works well for Valentine’s Day, but it really could be made any time because it is based on 1 Corinthians 13.
A free printable is available if you’d like to make your own for personal use or gift-giving. Please contact me if the printable doesn’t work for some reason.
I trimmed and lined them using K&Company double-sided cardstock, which added a cute design to the back. To finish, I laminated them and added ribbon.
Creatively wrapping them was my next challenge and I thought of using pretzel bags. They worked perfectly! I included a few chocolates and tied them with ribbon. Pretzel bags can easily be found at Walmart or JoAnn’s.
I’m so happy with how they turned out. ♥
I’d love to hear if you have an opportunity to make them. They were a fun little project!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Laurie ♥
